Cass flooding
Author: Finderskeepers

I saw a picture on Pinterest today of Cass #11 in flood waters up to her running boards, but I have no idea if it was for real or photoshopped. I do know that 44 counties in West Virginia have been declared disaster areas, with 9" of rain in one day that caused "a thousand year flood". 23 people are confirmed dead also. I did see pictures of a bridge completely destroyed over the Elk River, so I fear the worst for the area.

From Trains Magazine
"The Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad has cancelled its Elkins-based Cheat Mountain Salamander tourist train for Friday, June 24 due to a track washout in an inaccessible region between Elkins and Cheat Bridge. The washout was reported late Thursday between mileposts 56 and 58. On the Cass Scenic Railroad, tracks were submerged late Thursday in the area of Back Mountain Road grade crossing due to a flooded Leatherbark Creek."

I assume Amtrak's CARDINAL has been adversely affected by this.  Anyone have any details?

Wow...it is a BAD Photoshop job. It's very obvious it's fake.
