Steam & Excursion > Question for the 261 folks.Date: 06/28/16 11:40 Question for the 261 folks. Author: Frisco1522 I've been watching for any photos of the two support cars, plus the Silurian/Bluebonnet that went north from the 1522 group. Anyone know the status on these as of now?
Just curious. Don Wirth Date: 06/28/16 13:11 Re: Question for the 261 folks. Author: NKP779 Don, Pretty sure that FO261 bought those cars for the OSH trucks under them. I think the cars are on cribbing.

Author: Frisco1522 The ex-MILW car had Nystrom trucks under it and was a bag/dorm. Both cars were Amtrak certified, so its a shame if they aren't using them somehow. I don't know where the business car Silurian/Bluebonnet went.
Like to see photos of them now. Date: 06/28/16 18:17 Re: Question for the 261 folks. Author: redberan4449 Date: 06/28/16 18:33 Re: Question for the 261 folks. Author: Frisco1522 The baggage car is ex-NP. Our other car was ex-MILW.

We had the baggage car shown in blue & white and an ex MILW baggage dorm car which we modified. It was a good car and served as our crew car. The bag was more of a storage car while the bag/dorm, was the "HQ".

The length and roof vents seem to match up. See pictures in this thread: http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?10,4045458

The business car we painted blue and white was called the Bluebonnet when we used it. I don't know where it ended up. If that is the Firefly, it sure looks nice.
