Steam & Excursion > 844 on Frontier Days NB nears Speer WY this morning

UP 4-8-4 Northern 844 proves itself leading the Cheyenne Frontier Days Special this morning, nearing Speer, WY with help from Rio Grande Heritage unit 1989, pulling the long train full of happy passengers anticipating their day at the rodeo festivities this pleasant morning. Long's Peak in Colorado and the ex-C&S Front Range Subdivision can be seen in the distance. Lots of the faithful were out today.
