Steam & Excursion > C&TSRR = Fire Patrol = Working A Hot Cinder

Fire Patrol has a very important job for the Cumbres & Toltec. Three Cheers for the Fire Patrol.

I was bringing my drone back to my Camera Wagon when I spotted some smoke so I stopped the return and went back to catch the Fire Patrol put out the hot cinder.

Glad to see they're "back on track," so to speak after their auto related mishap. Interesting, I bet almost no one who rides the train realizes this work takes place or needs to be done. Their job is critical. Also, the ROW on the C&TSRR looks awesome compared to how it looked when I last visited. Kudos to them on their work in that department as well.

Narrow gauge ballast NEVER looked that good in the old days.  Same on the D & S.

C&TS is in way better shape than the D&S.

There's more ballast on that track than some mainlines. Good going C&TSRR, gotta get back there soon.
