Steam & Excursion > GCRY #29 running 8/24 --

Nice to see #29 depart Williams, AZ on the 0930 train to Grand Canyon yesterday.  She was looking good but the two run-bys we saw, she was not doing much work and you could barely hear anything coming out of the stack.  The F40 was pushing.  I think they said she is running all weekend, or at least through Saturday.   Sorry no pics.

Also saw teh Amtrak museum train run to Grand Canyon ahead of our 930 train on 8/23.  Its there for the 100th anniversary of the national park system.

Double headed steam on Saturday.  Orgional idea was to have the 29 by itself on the 26th.

29 was working very hard if you saw it in the right place, or rode it.
