Steam & Excursion > D&RGW 315 in Silverton last weekendDate: 08/26/16 07:30 D&RGW 315 in Silverton last weekend Author: Diamond_D While in the Silverton area doing some camping and 4x4 trails, I completely by accident stumbled across the Saturday evening excursion of the 315 from Silverton to Elk Park and return. I met a few other fine folks waiting to photograph the train and had some nice conversations while we waited for the return to town. Since I didn't see any photos from last weekend I thought I'd share a few.

I've never been able to capture that range of perfect exposure/HDR at that same location. I either correctly expose the loco or the peak in the distance, but never front-to-back excellence like that. Wow! :)

who put their blood, sweat, tears and money into restoring this park engine for the rest of us to enjoy. |
