Photo 16.  The bridge cleared and we're off down the Willamette River.
Photo 17.  In the wheelhouse.  One handing the helm seems a bit casual.
Photo 18.  Ross & Barry Howard.  Talk'n 2.0?   (Barry designed the AFT display cars and would presumably get the job again)

Photo 19.  People you don't know, L2R:  Wild Bill Hoban (AFT Curator), Carol B (AFT Tickets, I think), and Jose USA (AFT Host Corps).   Wild (Now mostly Mild) Bill is a Newspaper Man and edited my Dumb Luck postings.  Jose & Carol married after the AFT and raised 2 boys.
Photo 20.  Doyle talking to ??.  Anyone know who he is?  I suspect he's a post AFT '49 Guy.  That's Mike Peckner (TO "weather") in the background.  He's been sealed for protection of some kind.
Photo 21.  Up on the Texas Deck, looking like the Vista Gon on the C&T as the weather got wetter.  Trish is not detoured by a bit of moisture (Ah- that's my girl!).  Here we met the Columbia River and turned back towards Portland.

That is Rollin D. Breedenberg, retired BNSF Vice-President.

Ha- no kidding!  I chatted with him a bit on the streetcar one afternoon, but didn't know who he was.
