I had the privilege of riding behind 4501 yesterday from Chattanooga to Summerville GA and return. As we were running a little ahead of schedule we were treated to a run-by near Rock Spring GA. Not the greatest quality as all I had with me was my Iphone but she still puts on a great show and an absolutely beautiful whistle.

Nice video!  And you held the phone quite steady, too --
which is not easy.  And NO diesel!  AND a proper
observation car on the rear!  What's not to like?
The 4501 looks great!

Good job!

We were on the other side of town listening to the radio chatter while the runby was being made.  The runbys are conditional on the train making good enough time to still make an on-time arrival in Grand Junction, and they were making great time on both trips this past weekend.  We were at the college when they made the Sunday runby.
