Steam & Excursion > 1962Date: 10/24/16 19:01 1962 Author: Auburn_Ed Green River, WY. Was this a RMRR Club trip? It was an overnight to Ogden. I rode the trip westbound. The #844 topped 100 mph! (Didn't the employee timetable have a section to figure speed by the number of code line poles you passed?) But what I'll always remember is the Continental Trailways bus ride back to Denver.......arrgh*^#**!

By the way, great photo of them servicing the 844. Bob Krieger Cheyenne, WY Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 10/24/16 19:09 by Bob3985. Date: 10/24/16 19:42 Re: 1962 Author: Auburn_Ed Thanks, Bob. I knew there was some formula. 36 seconds per mile!
