JBWX Date: 10/26/16 21:37 Re: The Pacific Lumber Company Author: Auburn_Ed Good question. In 2003, or so, I bought a Nikon Coolscan. The memory in my computer was much smaller than today (20 megabytes). So I started scanning and thought the best size was around 100 kb. Boy, was I wrong. I subsequently started scanning much larger files, usually in .tif format, but a lot of what I had scanned previous to that were small files. Some day I go back and rescan to a larger file. In the meantime, some of my post of those smaller files will have to remain 'small'. They won't stand up to any enlargement. Same with 'Leadville Rotary" that I posted the other day. I have a resizing app, but it doesn' work with small files.
