Any date? Looks like it could be an excursion.

5632 did haul a mixed train excursion west of Aurora, Illinois though Rochelle that handled some freight cars in 1962.

Apologies are due to the railfan in Chicago that was also on that trip.  He sent me several of his photos, since I couldn't find mine.  Now I have found mine, but I searched for his email and name on TO and can't find it.  If you're out there, let me know.  I might have a photo of YOU.

Sigh, I'd pay $65 to do this today.  (BLS Inflation calculator results).

Yeah, me too!. That run back from Oregon was a fast run as a lot of the stuff from the printing plant at Mt. Morris (just north of Oregon) had to be on Chicago by mid-evening to meet newspaper delivery deadlines.

I can't place the photo. My first instinct was between Westmont and Downers Grove Fairview Avenue. Was there an intermediate signal bridge between the crossover signals at Fairview Avenue and the intermediate signal bridge by the Westmont passenger station.

Marty Bernard can probably answer the location question.

And, later on, Chicago & Western Indiana, killed that loco.   I loved to watch it run.
