The November 26 photo update wasn't available when I posted the work status update last Wednesday. The photo set includes work on the glass wall oilers, 26L brake system, sander valve installation, name plate fabrication, throttle valve lapping, and other tasks. One of our newest volunteers is a young exchange student from Bavaria who never dreamed she'd be working atop an old steam locomotive (with proper safety equipment, of course)! 1. The sander valve and it's air lines await mounting.
2. The mounted sander valve sits to the right of the 26L brake valve box in the cab. It's getting really crowded in there!
3. One of our talented machinists has made this double-sized bolt for permanently mounting the dynamos.
