Grand Canyon Railway Steam

The Grand Canyon Railway is scheduled to run steam on it's daily train on February 18th.
I'm thinking #29 but who know for sure.
Should be a good winter trip.

I see a plan...
Amtrak No 4 out of Los Angeles, up early to get off at Williams Jct., hot breakfast at the Fray Marcos, round trip to the canyon, catch No 3 back to Los Angeles, and either crash, or (if I was 40 years younger) go to work the next morning.

There is also a Lerro charter coming up earlier in the month on the GCY that is a kind of an epic one-off event. There are 10 tickets left.

A lot of people are doing that then heading up to the Nevada Northern for the weekend #1 there.
