Brantigan & his wife Kate. Steve Lee (white helment) helped unload from truck the Klondike Mines Railway 4 at Wasatch RR Contractors, Cheyenne, WY, February 22, 2017.
Pardon the wind but this is Wyoming. Dr. Brantigan plans to have No. 4 receive maintenance at Cheyenne and then move the Baldwin built narrow gauge steam locomotive to Como, Colorado, summer 2017. Track is being relaid on the former Denver, South Park & Pacific Railway right of way at the restored Como Depot towards the Como Roundhouse. Edited 1 time(s). By looking at photos in other threads, it appears the situation is well in hand. One forklift was pulling or pushing, while the other was holding it back, thus they had complete control of the movement at all times. Think maybe they've done this before? I wondered if it was so tight and unlubed that they were not worried about it rolling away on them?
