Steam & Excursion > Georgetown 14Date: 08/06/02 22:53 Georgetown 14 Author: espee99 I visited Georgetown Loop last Saturday and was surprised to see that the have 3 Westside shays. Great to see 14 working.
Staff says that someone has purchased the Westside and was inquiring about purchasing number 8 and returning it to Westside. Anyone know anything about this. Thanks in advance Timl...... Tom Date: 08/12/02 10:30 3rd Georgetown Loop Shay (was: Georgetown 14) Author: tvrha The third Shay is #12. It\'s also the biggest of the three. Except for use during the inital season of steam, #8 hasn\'t ever been run, likely due to it being a saturated steam boiler.
