Steam & Excursion > UP 3985 in Bryan TexasDate: 01/29/04 05:00 UP 3985 in Bryan Texas Author: KB5WK Date: 01/29/04 06:36 Re: UP 3985 in Bryan Texas Author: F40PHR231 Smart thought: Take the multiple "Wrong Way" signs seriously!
How about the green arrow? That could either be a railroad sign or a one-way 'go this direction' sign for automobiles.... Confusing and a bad place to put such post. Nice pic! Date: 01/29/04 10:04 Re: UP 3985 in Bryan Texas Author: CPRR Great pic!!!! Not often you see a steamer that is street running. Is this a regular line with traffic, or is this a secondary one that the 3985 used?

Date: 01/29/04 16:26 Re: UP 3985 in Bryan Texas Author: Sunbeam14 That track is UP's Fort Worth subdivision. There is plenty of traffic on it. In fact, concrete ties support the curve in the picture.

That is a beautiful shot. What a terrific spot to get a photo. Makes me wish I had followed her further, instead of from Maud, TX to Corsicana. But hey, there's always next week! Larry W. Grant (olddude41) Dallas, Texas Date: 01/30/04 13:52 Re: UP 3985 in Bryan Texas Author: Sunbeam14 I stand corrected. I should know better, it IS the Navasota Sub. The location is W. 28th Street, just 2 blocks west of downtown Bryan.
