a little more Texican Santa Fe
Author: xtra1188w

Here's an image from April 2002. Sometimes seeing scenes like this helped relieve the boredom and tedium of waiting to load, as in loading a big truck. This northbound BNSF was just north of Streetman Texas on the B-RI when I took its picture as it was just about my turn to get a load of hadite at the TXI plant outside of Streetman Texas. Hadite is a kiln baked clay aggregate that's used for road surfacing, and concrete blocks, and light weight precast concrete.

Here's a chopped nosed GP-7 (?, maybe a 9?) I don't know, it was an altered infernal combustio machine, okay? It was assigned as a switch engine at the Bellville Texas yards when they were still active.
