a caboose in the sunset
Author: xtra1188w

I was "hammer down" on (?) US 84 southbound between Snyder and Roscoe Texas in my 18 wheeler when I caught up to this southbound RS&P train, I passed the train, slammed on the brakes and took picturesof its passing me. This caboose shot is the only one that came out okay, it's sort of an "artsy-fartsy" shot, but I like it. This dates from 1974 or so.

Here's the same picture after I lightened it up in PS Elements.

Con,

I'll bet it never made it to the Pacific!

Thanks for sharing so many images from such a great variety of places.
