UP still changes crews at Milford. Wasn't the station torn down in 1980?

Yes I enjoyed the Milford shots. Thank You. I have read about many great railroad managers in the past but there are probably just as many short sighted A-holes out there that made decisions such as the one to tear down beautiful structures such as the Milford Depot. The good guys in railroding were the ones with a sense of history, civic pride, and pride in the company they worked for.

UP started storing the 6900's one by one in July of 1980 as they came due for their FRA's, and 90 day inspections. Most, if not all, were in storage by the end of November 1980, due to the recession...

Considering what they could have put up in its place i.e. a metal trailer, the smaller version of that grand depot looks fine
