Date: 04/03/06 15:57 Re: More GG1 Memories Author: davew833 The GG1's were built from 1934-1943 and remained in service until 1983 I believe. 4901 was built in 1940 and 4914 in 1942, unfortunately both were scrapped. Yes, PRR and its successors got their money's worth out of the GG1's.
