Here's a before and after comparison of the Santa Cruz Branch trackage on Walker Street. First the local rolls up on the pavement in September of 2001. Spurs to the packing sheds were still in place. Watsonville then decided to repave Walker Street about a year later and it was forever changed with regards to track. The local rolls up a single track Walker Street in February of this year. Who knows maybe it'll all be paved over in another 5 years!

I don't know Sam, there's a lot of limestone in those hills above Davenport I'd wager. Nice views—makes me want to come smell the ocean and the damp soil tinged with EMD again.
