Well the girl I was dating and myself had driven to Glenwood in April of '69. We came across Number 17 after its stop at Glenwood at this crossing. . . Joe S.

I agree. The four stripe is a bit too, er, busy.

Looks like there are some non standard CZ cars in that consist, including a former Chessie dome? Or do I only imagine it?

local cars for den gsc traffic perhaps, yes its a chessie dome and ps coach from the other rg trains as they were discontinued by then. nice shot thks

Still the full Chicago-Oakland train in 1969, as I rode #18 from Sacramento to Chicago in Sept 69 with a regular consist -- no Chessie dome or other foreign passenger cars IIRC.
