top: westbound dropping downgrade below James
middle: eastbound [northbound] Hi Line train at west end James siding
bottom: eastbound manifest train at west end James siding

Thanks for the WP "fix" for the day, JB. The WP was such a cool railroad. The early '70s was quite a time on the WP with the changing from the silver and orange to green and orange, that made for great variety.
Here's a couple of shots (previously posted) that, to me are the essence of the WP. From September 1975. Long live the Western Pacific!-BMT
