Any photos of SP on older Clackamas River bridge?
Author: Milwaukee

Before they build I-205 in the Portland, OR area the SP line used a more curved route between Clackamas and Oregon City. The current bridge replaced one at Park Place, OR where the support structure is still present. Does anyone have a photo of a train on that older structure? I've never seen one on that before which surprises me given the proximity to Portland and the fact it would have been so easily accessible.

Thanks for your help finding one.

I don't believe I have any photos on the bridge, but the second video in the series linked below has multiple shots of double heading locomotives going over it.

For what it's worth, there is a nice picture of an SP passenger
train on that bridge on page 24 in "The SP in Oregon Pictorial" book
by Austin & Dill.
