Allan Miller, isn't he the signal maintainer?

Wrong one. This one is the public investment banker, now based in Chile. And an outstanding RR photographer.

Best regards,

Rob L.

Come to think of it, the signal maintainer I was thinking about is Allen Miller with an e.

I'd like to guess that it's at Lowell, the NP on the NP main (Turkey trail) and the FGE car in the backgroung is in the MILW yard.

Is that the only color scheme the CB&Q F's ever had? I've never liked that color (what color is that by the way) as the black and red Burlington schemes always looked so much better.

Thanks for sharing the photos.

In a nutshell, yes. There were a couple of A-B-A sets of F3s delivered for use on the California Zephyr that were in the Q's standard passenger silver. When they were bumped by the arrival of more E units, they were painted in the 'grayback' scheme but kept their passenger numbers to the end ...

Burlington John

Looks like the back lead at Delta yard and that's Rogers main in the background.

Them trees in the background looks to be too big and too much of em, unless it was chopped down and more grew back up.
