Here comes Puff!

With train #141 in tow Puff arives at Santa Clara station.The other half of the famous Huff and Puff pair the 4451 started life as the 5353 in April 1954,renumbered to second 5339 she was built with her "Ash can" Mars light and ran on all kinds of trains in mixed service.Later in 1966 she was renumbered to the famous 3800 and was seen through out California in the late 1960's by many lucky fans with that great signal light flashing.In February 1974 she emerged from the SP Sacramento shops as the 4451 where she stayed doing freight in Northern California and pinch hitting on the commuter line in the Bay Area till she was retired and sold to Progress Rail 1-96 then later resold to Nevada Industrial Switch

Huff was 5363, later 3822, finally 4450.

Last I heard, Puff was still at Schelville, CA, where it's been since it last ran for the NCRA/NWP a dozen years ago.
