top: the 3527 leads a northbound inside gateway train just a mile into the new line change just north of Oroville, CA in Nov '73. middle: I posted this photo in color a few months back so here is the B&W version. I posted it again because the 3555 shown leading WP's hot TOF east in March '81 somewhere in the "canyon" with below shot of same unit trailoing on a lowly extra empty coal train in local service. bottom: just a couple of years after succombing to "yellow fever" the 3551 and 3555 lead an "extra Pedro" coal empty north at Manual siding in the city of Carson, CA in June '83.
