Nostalgia & History > Help with an Industrial Electric LocomotiveDate: 12/06/10 06:03 Help with an Industrial Electric Locomotive Author: BN7150 This locomotive has been exported to Japan from the United States in the 1920s, was used for the construction of hydroelectric plants. Specifications are 24" gauge, DC 600V, 3-ton, 20" drivers and, 11kw traction motors. The manufacturer is said to Baldwin and Westinghouse. I could not believe it. I think Jeffrey or Atlas. These pictures were taken in the 1950s.
Any information very much thanks Date: 12/06/10 08:02 Re: Help with an Industrial Electric Locomotive Author: miralomarail Looks like a Jeffrey unit I saw at a Copper Smelter in Mexico in the 90's. Similar size and design.
