K64/SP finale
Author: sphogger

I can't remember what year I exposed this roll of Kodachrome. Threw it in a drawer thinking it was all crap. I figured I'd better get it developed now or never, sent it in to Dwaynes 12/25. Made it under the wire! Had it photoCD'd and got it today.

So here's one from my last roll of film & the trusty Pentax ME. The color wasn't that good, used Photoshop Auto Color Correct and that was it.

Wish I had developed the roll sooner!

That's a lot of GE's for the Shasta Route. Some Dash 9's were tested there for a bit when new.
Rare consist!

Solid sets of SP Dash 9s were the power of choice for the LA - Portland/Seattle Z-trains back around the year 2000. Given the solid set of Dash 9s and the number of UP engines in Dunsmuir, I wonder if this roll of film could date from 2000 +/- a year or so.

All those SP GE's without any patches by 2000? I was thinking the date of the first photo was more around merger time or a bit after, but anything is possible.

And here's the crew change. I'm thinking 1999.

Lots of changes since then.
