Loco with a history

NIS GP7 1804 Exeter, CA 04-1987 NIS (Nevada Industrial Switching) is in Exeter, CA at the SJVR engine house. 1804 was built in 08-1951 for the US Army as USAX 1834, later it went to the AAR as 1834 then was rebuilt for the AAR as 1804, then to NIS 1804 where it was used in some moves. Presently it is in Florida at the Gold Coast RR Museum painted in ACL colors as 1804. I don't how it happens to have ARR type B trucks instead of Blomberg trucks

They had AAR Type A trucks when new and when rebuilt (by Pudacah I believe) they got Type B trucks...I don't know the reasons for this switch however.
