Mason is located on the line between Lansing and Jackson. Depot today is a restaurant. Local short line Adrian and Blissfield operates this route.

Actually, the ladies might be an agent and clerk, etc. That was not uncommon in the era.

Spent a lot of my youth in South Lyon. Depot was across the street from my grandfather's house. Might as well have been my second home, especially that former baggage ramp protruding out toward the C&O main on the left.

Also a carbon copy design at Fowler, on the Durand-Grand Rapids line, now a private residence north of town.

South Lyon MI (C&O-GTW)... (Saved, moved and now in McHattie Park on the south side of town)
Saranac MI (GTW)... In all its holiday "finery."

Another small town Depot on the Ann Arbor RR on the northern end of the line.

Elsie, Mi historic shots

Elsie is a small village in Clinton County Mi on the Ann Arbor RR main between Owosso and Ashley. A picture of an unusual electric unit at the depot and a wreck near the village.

Wolverine, MI Depot

Wolverine is located between Gaylord and Indian River on the MC/NYC line to Mackinaw City. Steam engines would usually take water here.
Top during steam era.
Bottom two, the depot today. grade is now a recreational trail.

Ashley, Mi depot

Ashley depot on the Ann Arbor main between Durand and Ithaca Mi. Top photo shows SB Ann Arbor train at depot. GTW line to Muskegon goes west to the left of the depot in top picture. GTW ran on AA tracks south of here to Durand. Depot is gone today but both tracks are still in place.
Bottom Photo from July 2009 at Ashley. NKP 765 is NB passing the junction switch. Depot is long gone from the site. Shot is looking down the former GTW Muskegon Branch to the junction.
