Howard Fogg, the photographer, this one UP U50's

Howard Fogg did more than paint RR scenes and fly fighters in WWII, he also was trackside with his camera ... and here's one of his slides ... a pair of UP U50's in the snow @ Cheyenne, WY on March 2, 1968.

With all them horses the reefer probably started as a 40 footer and arrived as a 50 footer.

I presume this is the big signal bridge at the west end of Cheyenne. If so the field in the background is where the batch of new brand name hotels are and also the Home Depot. Feels just like home.
