La Crosse WI - Looking Back

My hometown, La Crosse WI, has had it's share of railroad history and I happened to see and photograph my own little chunk of the history. Four EMDS of various colors move a CN trackage rights train eastward on the BN towards Chicago while on the Soo Line side two Soo Line GP15C await their call to duty.

Some great shots! What year roughly were these taken? And when you say CN trackage rights, was that over the Soo Line at the time or another road?
