Nostalgia & History > SP Kodachrome meets the yellow perilDate: 11/17/12 23:01 SP Kodachrome meets the yellow peril Author: choochoocharlie 1 - No, not actually run into it but coupled together with it. SP SD45 rebuild #7563 and UP GE U30C #2440 with the SP 7562 and 9323 on the Eugene engine run around track heading for the service track lead after coming in on a train from the Cascade Line. Photo on Kodachrome 64 taken on March 21st, 1986. With those snowplows on both units they are coupled pretty close. Hope they don't have any 18" radius curves in the yard.
2 and 3 - SP #7399 in Kodachrome paint at Dunsmuir on April 15th, 1986. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 11/17/12 23:11 by choochoocharlie. The return of 4449 and the TOUGH GUYS movie special after the filiming in Southern California was completed. Photos taken on March 15th, 1986. Got a great sound recording too as they used two different steam whistles upon arriving in town.

But some may say that the yellow gleam of an alligator's eyes could be seen in his too. A character any way you encountered him, the world is a dull place now.
