On 5-24-57 James Turner caught the Union Pacifc Portland Seattle Pool Train southbound passing the tower at Black River Jct just south of Seattle with FM Erie Builts for power. Thanks for looking, Tom Date: 11/20/12 12:45 Re: A Little UP Break Author: RRTom Questions about the pool trains:
This one appears to be crossing from UP to UP. What about the different RR's station stops between Seattle and Tacoma or weren't there any? Did all the pool trains use King St station? Thansk Date: 11/20/12 16:09 Re: A Little UP Break Author: Auburn_Ed UP always used Milwaukee Road track Black River to Tacoma, GN and NP always used their line. In some towns (Auburn) they stopped at their respective stations. Not sure about Kent or Puyallup.
