Something from the northeast: "Because I want to charge a lousy five bucks, people act as though I've torn up the tracks." Go to it. J. Date: 11/27/12 09:26 Re: Who said it #6 Author: patd3985 Cornelius Vanderbilt?

Out of curiosity, about when was the $5/month parking charge levied? I'm trying to guess if it was in fact a reasonable charge, or if it was extortionate. (How the parkers felt was obvious. But if they were making $1000/month, then they were just making noise. If on the other hand the average wage was $20/month, they had a real point.) |
