Here are photos from 2010. Hopefully a way can be found to save and repurpose this unique railroad artifact.

When they first got interested in saving the station. Did they try to put it on the U.S. list of historical places?
If they didn't, that was a big mistake. Granted, being on that list doesn't make it impossible to be demolished.
It just makes it a bit more difficult.
