The SP in La Verne, Ca
Author: miralomarail

In the time before Metrolink, this Eastbound ESPEE local is Passing by through the East end of La Verne, Ca
To the left in the background was once the Team Track, in a Few minutes the 4339 will cross Fairplex Drive and on into Pomona.

Today this track is all Welded Rail on Concrete Ties as part of Metrolink, but back in 1990 it was a Fun Train to chase

Not quite John. Our advertised OD time was 1000 M-F. We worked 16 hours every day so we had to come out 2 hours late on Tues., Wed., Thurs. and by Friday it would be 1800 hrs on duty. That was too late for the shippers, so the company would give us a dead day on Friday and call an extra crew for Friday.
