Nostalgia & History > A diner in the middle of a field -- Sept 80Date: 12/08/12 14:15 A diner in the middle of a field -- Sept 80 Author: gcm This diner was near Sealy,Tx (50 miles west of Houston).
It could be seen from I-10 and the nearest railroad was the MKT. A rebuilt heavyweight car - it looks like an ex-Southern diner? I don't know who owned it or what happened to it. Anyone have any info? Date: 12/09/12 09:50 Re: A diner in the middle of a field -- Sept 80 Author: Nictd1000 Could be ex Southern but, I'm thinking it's former Union Pacific.
