Indeed it is. Classic in a thousand ways.

This excellent view was taken from the old Highway 99 overpass approaching North Avenue. The signal indicates clear for an eastbound SP movement. I'm not sure what the purpose of the lower (third) signal indicates for westbounds. The spur shown is long gone, though a new spur in the opposite direction now serves a grain silo operation. The overpass is still in place and still crosses North Avenue and the BNSF at the east (south) end of their Calwa Yard.

The westward signal is the signal
protecting the SFe xing? And there's
also a turnout, hence the lower arm?

The upper and lower arms are for the switch at the east end of the two mainlines toward Fresno, but I don't recall any other turnout in the area. Maybe there was one that ran behind Calwa Tower that I never recall seeing on a chart.

The upper and middle arms are both for
the main track; maybe the bottom one
is to go against the current?

That location would be great for a model diarama.
