C&NW Flashback
Author: CNW8531

C&NW F7 #400 has an eastbound business special draped around the curve at Bertram, Iowa on 10-17-85.

C&NW's class SD50 #7000 is westbound at Nelson, Illinois on 12-6-85.

Oh how I miss the C&NW! It's one reason why my camera doesn't get the workout anymore like it once did. Everything looks the same today about everywhere you go. Someday when I get my time machine perfected, I'm going back to the '60's, the '70's and the '80's and shoot all the stuff I missed. Come along with me if you like!

CN&W had one of the best looking business car trains set around. However, they didn't come to KC near enough

In addition to the business train livery, the suburban trains looked sharp.

When you get that time machine working, I'll go back to the 1970s and bring along my digital camera and a pocket full of 64 gigabyte SD cards.

Amen to that! And this time I won't take anything for granted like I did the first time around.
