Nostalgia & History > C&NW FlashbackDate: 12/18/12 06:12 C&NW Flashback Author: CNW8531 C&NW F7 #400 has an eastbound business special draped around the curve at Bertram, Iowa on 10-17-85.
C&NW's class SD50 #7000 is westbound at Nelson, Illinois on 12-6-85. Oh how I miss the C&NW! It's one reason why my camera doesn't get the workout anymore like it once did. Everything looks the same today about everywhere you go. Someday when I get my time machine perfected, I'm going back to the '60's, the '70's and the '80's and shoot all the stuff I missed. Come along with me if you like! Date: 12/18/12 06:51 Re: C&NW Flashback Author: bxa1 thanks for sharing the great railroad that ever existed :D

Dale Date: 12/18/12 19:17 Re: C&NW Flashback Author: CNW When you get that time machine working, I'll go back to the 1970s and bring along my digital camera and a pocket full of 64 gigabyte SD cards.
