Thurs Lost Junk File: Still patriotic
Author: santafe199

Here's another slide from my lost junk files. This slide was one of the victims of my "great purge of 1982", but it never quite made it to a final disposition as intended. These slides sure look different 30 years later! Just toss in a teaspoon of Photoshop.....

1. AT&SF 999504 passing the Bi-centennial paint on the Lebo, KS depot on December 28, 1978.

Thanks for looking back!

Times has a way of changing one's perspective, doesn't it?

Isn't it amazing how old "junk files" now become long lost treasures?

Very cool shot!

I used to see those Santa Fe trailers with the blue and yellow tarps at the Owasso, OK pig ramp all the time back in the early and mid 80's.

Lance's way of purging slides was while doing a DJ gig he'd put the slide on a vinyl record he was spinning and if it stayed on the vinyl he kept the slide ... if it fell off it was disposed of :-)
