AMTK under not so friendly Wyoming skies

I got this going away shot of Amtrak on June 16, 1982 on the UP in the Sherman Hill area. It can get nasty here in Wyoming, even when there's no snow!

UP RR operating crews on the Amtrak San Fran Zephyr taken at Sherman Hill, were based out of Denver and Cheyenne, WY and worked between Denver and Green River, WY. (conductors and trainmen only. Laramie and Denver based passenger enginemen worked between Denver and Rawlins, WY.
