Santa Fe Freight F's for Friday
Author: throttle8

The Colorado and Texas Divisions of Santa Fe were the final bastions for the EMD F's. We were blessed with seeing them in a variety of liveries (and conditions) through the years. Attached are three examples:

ATSF 286 in yellow-bonnet taken at Ft Worth fuel rack (now long gone and is now being re-configured again for the Tower 55 project.
ATSF 239b also in the yellow-bonnet (b-unit version) at the Pueblo, CO fuel track.
ATSF 223L idles at the La Junta, CO fuel track in clean paint.

Have a great Friday!
Bruce Barrett

Funny how the Santa Fe had so many variations of the same basic paint scheme.

Nice photos - thanks for sharing.

A very interesting time for F unit paint jobs on our Santa Fe.
