Nostalgia & History > ICE and LADate: 04/18/14 16:18 ICE and LA Author: sp5312 Date: 04/18/14 19:25 Re: ICE and LA Author: BoilingMan This thing laid-over in West Oakland one night. It was around midnight. I had just come off my run. They had a guy sort of guarding it and I asked if I could have a look inside. He said No, so I asked if there was someone of higher authority I could appeal to. He said, "That would be Karl, you'll have to talk to Karl". Okay, so where is Karl? "He's on the train" Can I go ask him? "I guess so" So I boarded the train and had a look around- I never saw anyone. I stepped off the train and the guy asked, "What did Karl say?" Um.. he said No. "Yeah, I thought so- sorry" No Big... Good night.
I'd thought these German guys were supposed ta be smart? Date: 04/18/14 20:51 Re: ICE and LA Author: sp5312 BoilingMan Wrote:

Nice train!
What was funny was that it had warnings painted on the trucks warning people to stay back when it was in motion...like anyone could read the signs when it was moving... Bill Deaver Tehachapi, CA Date: 04/18/14 23:13 Re: ICE and LA Author: TipsyMcStagger No trains arriving on Track 3 that day
