Nostalgia & History > Meets Monday - Raton SubdivisionDate: 04/21/14 14:48 Meets Monday - Raton Subdivision Author: ATSF100WEST Santa Fe C44-9W 643 East on the G-BADC1-17 has been holding the main track at Timpas, Colorado, for a meet with Amtrak Train Number 3, the westbound "Southwest Chief", on September 20, 1994. This 4,650' Raton Subdivision siding is the last Control Point before the train reaches the crew terminal at La Junta. Santa Fe Engineer Matt Perea is going to try his best to clear the rear end of his train from the west siding switch as quickly as possible, so as to minimize delay to the passenger train.

Date: 04/22/14 14:24 Re: Meets Monday - Raton Subdivision Author: SD45X I would think Absolute signal instead of Control point. It's ABS/TWC. Control Point is CTC.
Will let Matt know about the pic:) Date: 04/22/14 15:36 Re: Meets Monday - Raton Subdivision Author: ATSF100WEST SD45X Wrote:
