Author: mp51w The concourse at Chicago Union station is pretty uncomfortable, especially during the busy Summer travel season. But don't forget how bad it used to be, with the cinder block walls, diesel exhaust, and nowhere to sit. Shot taken Summer 1986.

While waiting for a train in the Chicago Union Station concourse may have not been the best travel experience, I don't remember ever anything so unpleasant about it to warrant being called a "disaster."
