Nostalgia & History > Coming into Union Station 40+ years agoDate: 07/28/14 15:02 Coming into Union Station 40+ years ago Author: Q4960 I must have been riding the Dutch doors coming into the Windy City on the Gulf, Mobile & Ohio about the time Amtrak was birthed. The E units waiting assignment, and Dick Jensen's ex-GTW 4-6-2 #5629 waiting for an assignment that never came. Not the best shot in the world but it is what it is.
