I was lucky enough to catch this special when it returned through Fremont NE. Watched the SD50's swap with the F's for the rest of the way East. Then the '50s went back to work...

So, for some of us, where is Rock Creek?

Great shot, Adam. I have never seen pictures of this move, if you have more please post them! Great looking train in the Canyon for sure.

I regret having missed this train when it came through Salt Lake City. At that time I lived a few blocks from the Union Pacific station and drove past there almost every day to see what was new. Apparently I didn't drive by that day.

I don't think the AAR does stuff like this anymore. I guess they just fly everyone to whatever meetings they're going to.
