Nostalgia & History > SP Train 149 arriving at Third & Townsend

As the sun slowly sets behind Twin Peaks, Train 149 rolls past the Fourth St Tower. I don't remember the date i Took this but the tower operator has his 1970 TR6 parked in the go position to take off as soon as he is off duty.

I don't think it was Bob Geppert's Triumph. He was in the tower for many years.

...someday ...I'll look out this window and see the Seal's Stadium full of people...there will be fireworks in the sky...there will be a Safeway's within walking distance...yes...someday.

Seal Stadium......50 cent bleacher seats, splinters in your backside, and talking with Willie Mays who was at work just below. What a time that was!
